Bruce Bell, President
Bruce Bell is a sports officiating professional who has officiated more than 1000 NCAA Division I basketball games over the course of his 35-year career. He also officiated in the National Basketball Association (NBA) before working as a Standard Observer for seven years from 2009-2016. Bruce has been a member of the Atlanta Hawks’ Play-by-Play Statistics team in various capacities for over 30 years. This team is primarily responsible for compiling game statistics for dissemination to the NBA League Office as well as local and national media outlets such as ABC Sports, ESPN, NBA TV, and TNT Sports. Bruce is a sought-after trainer and advisor and has served as both a clinician and an evaluator. He also has served in an administrative role in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as an Assignor. Bruce’s decades long experience in sports management is a valuable resource for sports conferences, local associations, and teams.
